How are the costs of a tattoo made up?

How much does a good tattoo cost? There’s no price list, because every tattoo is an individual project. But we can explain how the price is calculated.

Factor 1: Size & level of detail.

A small symbol takes less time than a full back piece. A photorealistic portrait takes more work than a simple lettering piece of the same size.

Factor 2: The artist.

An internationally renowned guest artist with 20 years of experience has a different hourly rate than an excellent resident artist. You’re paying for experience and skill.

Factor 3: The price of quality.

At Artfaktors, you’re not just paying for the time spent tattooing. The price includes: an in-depth consultation, creation of a custom design, top-quality inks, strict hygiene, and professional support. Quality comes at a price, but bad tattoos end up costing more. A more affordable option for unique designs can also be the Wannados from our up-and-coming artists.
